Recipe: Falafel Wrap

Falafel wraps are super easy and incredibly tasty!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pita bread
  • 1 small tomato, chopped
  • small handful of lettuce
  • 3 1/2 tbsp hommus
  • 3 balls premade falafel
  • 1 1/2 tbsp tahini
  • lemon juice (optional)

 

Preparation
  1. Heat falafel according to instructions (I used Trader Joe’s falafel).
  2. Toast panini for 4 minutes at 350 degrees.
  3. Spread hummus on the inside of the pita bread.
  4. Spread tahini on the inside of the pita bread.
  5. Place lettuce and tomato inside pita bread.
  6. Place falafel balls in pita bread, optionally crushing the falafel balls while placing inside.
  7. Squeeze 10 drops of lemon juice into pita bread.
